Who we are and what we are about.
Allow me to introduce you to Oak Harbor’s newest charity: My Father’s House Community Thrift Store and Outreach Center. This charity is all about reaching out to kids and families one by one. We want to offer athletic scholarships to needy families so their children can participate in youth sports. We’ll also be helping to provide needed sports equipment.
Another facet of our charity is to help adoptive parents and their new family members; with both preparatory and follow-up support classes. My Father’s House Community Thrift Store and Outreach Center will provide funding for these classes. We serve over 40 lunches per week to Oak Harbor's Homeless on Friday and Saturday's as well as provide clothing, tents and misc. items for our homeless on the island.
